Avotein Farms Ltd has created a Hass Avocado Fund, to help investors around the world get the opportunity to invest in agriculture in Uganda.

The Avocado Hass Market is poised to grow at a CAGR of5.3% by 2027. We prioritize sustainable farming practices to ensure the long-term viability of our farm and the surrounding environment.

We offer a projected ROI of 600% and IRR of 23% over a period of 20 years. With optional insurance scheme covering up to 75% of yield.

Why Hass Avocado?

The Hass cultivar is the most commercially popular avocado worldwide. 80% of avocados
consumed in the world are Hass avocados.
Hass avocados have a higher oil percentage (around 18%) making the texture creamier, and is therefore considered as the preferred variety.
A single mature tree yields 300kgs (about 1500 fruits).
Hass avocado has the longest shelf life among all varieties; up to 2-3 weeks, room temperature, 4-6 weeks, refrigerated.

Why Uganda?

The government has enacted policies that are favorable to farmers, such as tax exemptions on agricultural inputs, reducing the cost of production, and easing access to credit.
Avocado trees require specialized tropical or subtropical climate.
Uganda has perfect conditions for avocados, it has high-quality soil, a warm climate, and ideal rainfall patterns for growing avocados.
In fact, Uganda has the most consistent rainfall pattern in the world.

Our Proposal

Avotein Farms Ltd. set up a Hass Avocado Fund, to help investors around the world get the opportunity to invest in agriculture – particularly in a super fruit, health and wealth wise.
Investor/s can obtain from 1 to 50 acres, with a small monthly payment of ~$150/Acre that covers the land rent, plantation of the Hass trees and management of the land.
Fund term is 20 years. The payment installments are for the first 3 years only (when the first harvest starts), and the ROI starts from year 4 and goes up to year 20.

Our Key Performance
An Average ROI per 10 acres is approx. USD 17,000 annually for 17 years

Program 1: Insurance on Investment Input –insurance company will cover 75% of the amount invested during the crop tree establishment (first 3 years)

Total Insurance Premium 180.00 $/Acre (Paid Once upon signing the contract)

Program 2: Insurance on Yield projected – insurance company will cover 75% of accepted yield value.
