Uganda’s equatorial climate, with its consistent rainfall and temperatures, provides an ideal environment for coffee cultivation. The country’s diverse micro-climates allow for the production of a wide range of coffee varieties.

Coffee grown at higher altitudes tends to have a more complex flavor profile. Uganda has several mountainous regions where coffee is cultivated at elevations ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 meters above sea level

Uganda grows several coffee varieties, including Arabica and Robusta. Arabica coffee is renowned for its nuanced flavors, while Robusta is known for its robust and earthy taste. This diversity allows for different flavor profiles and coffee options.

At Avotein Farms, we work with more than 1,000 out-growers around Uganda, growing, harvesting, processing the best beans in the highest standards. We source both Arabica and Robusta Coffees from low land areas.

Arabica: Bugisu AA, Bugisu A, Bugisu PB, Bugisu B, Arabica Wugar and Arabica Drugar

Robusta: Screen 18, 15 and 12

Through partnership with selected roasters, we produced customized roasted beans based on our client’s requirements.
